Week 8: ANZAC biscuits

It just so happens that this Thursday is also ANZAC day!
So naturally, ANZAC biscuits are also baked and eaten on this day so we had to do the same 🙂

A bit of history:
ANZAC day is a day of rememberance in New Zealand and Australia of those who served and fought in any wars, conflicts and operations. ANZAC biscuits are those sent to troops as they could easily send and receive them without them going
off.

The ingredients going into these were quite similar to those in the hobnobs, but I found they tasted more honeyish, gooey and generally tastier. Maybe they were less burnt or some …other excuse.
